Your Mom’s A Blog

Why “Your Mom’s A Blog” as a title for blog?  It’s an inside joke.  Like most inside jokes there’s a lot contextual information that is too difficult to explain and the whole story ends with, “you just had to be there.”  Ultimately I just like this particular stock insult the best.  I prefer to use the insult when it makes no sense.  So if someone says “Wow, that was easy!”  Don’t respond, “Your mom’s easy.”  That’s just mean.  But if someone says “I still love the Atari 2600.”  You reply “You mom’s an Atari 2600.”  In fact, the longer and more convoluted the statement the funnier it is.  Thus, instead of “Hello World!”  It is now “Your Mom’s a World.”

Down to business.

The purpose of this blog is to bequeath my highly unconventional knowledge, inflated diction and often bizarre sense of humor to an unready society.  I also do some software development als Beruf.  So I will be periodically blogging about all that r0xx0rs and is ub3rl33t.
